Meandering South for the Winter

Another Month in Review

Since leaving the lovely island of St Croix, we headed back to St Thomas for the usual boat chores of provisioning, laundry, cleaning and boat projects.  We enjoyed the quiet of Christmas Cove for a number of days before the bustle of Charlotte Amalie.  Rob arrived on April 26 and after a speedy trip to Soper’s Hole for a boat showing we had a great week circumnavigating St John.  With his visit cut short, our time in the USVI’s ended fittingly with Carnival.  We were able to catch the last lap parade and a fireworks show in the bay.  Spectacular!

We are currently settled in the North Sound, Virgin Gorda, BVI where we are waiting for an opportunity to head to St Martin.  The winds are straight east for the next while, so we will hang out and keep busy here.
